The song writing talent, vocal performance and keyboard skill coming out of this 16 year old musician mesmerized the audience. We invited Sadie to come back and perform for The Sounds of Schmidt at White Squirrel Bar in St. Paul. I was sitting at the far end of the bar as audience members grew quiet, turned their heads to take in this never before seen musician. The bookers from White Squirrel asked me, “where did you find her?” They were dumbfounded. We are eager to have Sadie return this spring and have invited her to recruit other young musicians. The bookers at White Squirrel are delighted."

My new single, "All I See" is out now on all streaming services! I wrote this song for a short film created by a friend of mine about a girl struggling with self-image and body dysmorphia. This summer was full of exciting opportunities and experiences for me! I was a part of the musical Alice by Heart through Emerging Professionals Ensemble, competed in the singing competition Eden Prairie Sings through the EP Optimist Club, and I played gigs throughout the Twin Cities! I got the opportunity to perform solo at the Midtown Farmers' Market, City House Restaurant, and the EP Optimist Club 5k. I also got to perform with my school's, PiM Arts High School, Modern Band at the Hopkins Raspberry Fest! I am excited to go into fall and winter and see what the rest of this year brings! Thank you to everyone who has supported my music this past summer and I hope to see you all again at upcoming events soon!

In February I was given the opportunity to perform for three days during the Home and Garden Show at the Convention Center. It was a very fun and valuable experience that I really enjoyed! I hope to come back next year and to continue doing events like this in the future!

On October 7th and 8th, I competed in the statewide Minnesota Sings 2023 competition. I competed in the 13-20 year old division alongside 28 others through the first two rounds, and made it to the finals. It was such a fun and exciting experience which ended in me being awarded 7th in Minnesota in the 13-20 year old division! It's a great competition, so thank you to Minnesota Sings and all their sponsors for making this happen!

Over the summer I participated in Eden Prairie Sings, a competition put on by the Eden Prairie Optimist Club. After performing Anyone by Demi Lovato, I won second place with Lainey Donoghue in first, and moved on to the statewide competition, Minnesota Sings! The weekend of October 7th I will be performing at the Opera House in Fairmont for that competition! After submitting my original song, "dont wanna know", to the Song of the Year Contest, I received the placement of Semi-Finalist! "dont wanna know" is the first original song of mine that I have recorded, so I am incredibly grateful to have made it this far in a competition like this. I hope to be releasing "dont wanna know" sometime soon, so keep an eye out!

2022 Women's Art Festival
Recently, I performed at the Women's Art Festival which was amazing! The artists and other performers were all incredible and it was awesome to see so many women showing their art in one place. The art festival is a wonderful tradition and sadly they may not be able to continue it next year because their venue, St. Mary's University, will be under construction. If you enjoy the women's art festival please let them know if you know of any venues they could use! Hopefully all us artists will be able to celebrate at the festival again next year!
